Our Story

At LifeSpeed, our clients are active participants in their own programming, and it is this therapeutic, trusting relationship that we value above all else; collaboration and consistency are the two main keys to the success of any ABA program.

How It Started

LifeSpeed was founded in 2013 with the primary goal of providing effective behavior-based solutions services to adolescents living with developmental and/or cognitive disorders throughout the greater Chicagoland area. Seeing such a dire lack of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) support available for adults placed in residential settings, LifeSpeed then expanded our model of care to include this ever-growing population. In March of 2020, LifeSpeed came full circle across the lifespan and opened our Early Learning Center in downtown Oak Park, specifically designed to support children living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Our team is dedicated to providing an individualized approach to care based around our clients’ strengths, while also addressing any potential behavioral deficits they may be experiencing. LifeSpeed recognizes that each person comes to us with their own set of unique learning experiences, and we adjust our recommendations accordingly.

At LifeSpeed, we have extensive experience working within the following categories:

Development Disorders (ASD, Fragile X, ADHD, Down Syndrome)
Age-Related Issues (Dementia)
Mood Disorders (Depression and Bipolar)
Anxiety Disorders (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder)

Our team also offers comprehensive classroom intervention strategies, and provides agency support via specified training seminars for staff who are seeking professional development.
