Amanda Lam


Amanda earned a Master of Science degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In her role as the Director of Program Development, Amanda works diligently to ensure that all LifeSpeed programs are based on the principles of ABA while still being uniquely tailored to the individual being served.


Amanda’s professional areas of interest include implementing functional assessments to evaluate maladaptive behaviors, developing caregiver trainings, and incorporating Acceptance & Commitment Therapy into her clients’ plans. Amanda stresses the importance of not only seeing clients in a 1:1 capacity within their homes and current placements, but also actively including clients in community activities so as to create the most conducive, comprehensive learning experience possible. In her free time, Amanda enjoys watching movies and travelling as much as she can.
